Subject: *mousethief gives a half grin at the thought of the crows getting the results of vermin. Which proves he is still sub-conscious, for he hears what they are saying, he just can't move enough to say anything back. He has quit talking to his parents, having taken a turn for the better, somewhat. At least he isn't that close, though in his mind, he still sees the gates looming up in front of him, so inviting.
