Hi There!

I'm in the process of updating our entertainment roster, and I came across your band's website online. I visited your website and learned what I could about you, and my interest is piqued! We're in a position to be able to provide some daytime gigs for you, and I'm writing to request delivery of your promo materials, as well as some additional information.

My question in regard to pricing has to do w/ time of day and day of the week. SANDA Events, a corporate events planning company, deals mainly with real estate management companies who schedule events for their office tenants during a time when they would be around to participate-- namely, in the middle of a regular workday.

It has been our experience that musicians are often willing to reduce a fee for a day/time of day that they otherwise would not be assured of a gig. My question is, if we wanted to hire your band to provide music for 2 hours in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, would/could this affect the fee we would then be charged? If so, what would your fee be? We would need you to provide your own sound system-- would your fee include this? We would not require any lights or other production elements-- just the band and the equipment needed to amplify you.

If this is the kind of situation that you think you could work with, could you do me the favor of e-mailing or faxing me a price list that takes the circumstances I've mentioned (time of day, day of week, etc.) into account? (Our contact information can be found below-- any and all materials should be sent to my attention) I would love to add your name and this information to our roster, and perhaps send some more business your way if you're available.

We will also require a current demo (CD's if possible, as many as you can spare-- 6 to 8 would be GREAT) so that we can accurately promote you to our clients. Lots of requests for "summer concert series" types of events are coming in at this time of year, and I would really like for them to hear you!

Our lead guitar player Mike Jula has accepted a teaching position in St. Louis and will no longer be with the band. We will miss him dearly and wish him the best of luck. We are happy to say that Mike's best friend, Justin Johnson, has joined the band as our new lead guitarist.

We had such a great time at the St. Catherine's carnival last night! You guys and gal sounded awesome and we definitely hope to see you there next year! I just wanted to thank everyone that came from near and very far to be at Lot 4 Saturday for my last show. It was overwhelming. I wish I had more time to talk to everyone, but the night absolutely flew by. Thanks to those of you who gave me flowers and other gifts. It was so touching and I really appreciate it. I've never had so many roses in my house at once!

We have waited long enough. It's time to come and rock with you!! Sorry, but we have a new addition to the family. (Hannah Victoria) Kelli and I tried to make the last Rolling Lanes gig. We had it all set up but, would'nt you know, the minute we dropped the kids off at Grandma's house Luke got sick. Our new Grill and Bar in Lemont is almost done. We want to book you guys sometime in June. This place is going to be a blast. Your going to love it. AMERICAS ONLY SLOT CAR GRILL AND BAR WITH LIVE ENTERTAINMENT ON THE WEEKENDS.

It's with a very heavy heart that I post this message. Our soundman Gary passed away last week from an apparent heart attack while sleeping. Anyone that had met him at one of our gigs knew what a nice guy he was not to mention a great soundman. He will be missed by all of us.

I am happy to announce that although we did not win, UGoddaWanna placed in the Top 5 in all categories we were nominated which include Best Rock Band, Best Classic Rock Band and Best Dance Band. Kevin "Big Daddy" Douglas placed for Best Male Front of a Band and I placed again this year for Best Female Front of a Band. Kerri from Eleventh Hour beat me again, but she's a sweetheart and I was happy for
her. Last year we only placed in two categories, so we are definitely getting closer.

Thanks so much to all of you whether you voted once or voted daily. It was really great to see our name pop up on the big screen in front of all the people there. Me and Dad held hands again and shared more "moments" that'll go down in the book of memories. We couldn't of done it without your help. You guys ROCK!

hi everyone! jimmy here! just want to tell everyone out there that hasn't been to rolling lanes to see us, you're missing out on a great time! first, of course, is the bowling. a couple of freinds of mine that bowl(myself included), love the lanes. you bowlers out there know what i mean. bring your BALLS(ha ha). the room where we play has a great bar and great bartenders. but the coolest thing i think are the regulars. the ones that get up and dance included. unique is putting it mildly. and i mean that in a good way. but please ladies, stop throwing your underwear at me on the stage. mrs. jimmy is starting to ask questions. hope to see as many of you as possible

We had a blast Saturday! You guys are awesome and I love Lot 4. What a great place to play. There were definitely some laughter filled moments. Add a little alcohol and you people get freakin' nuts!!

Hey everyone!
OK, here goes...We've moved up to Machesney Park, just thisclose to Rockford. There is some nightlife up here, if you go to Rockford. It's about 2 hours to get down to the Edge or Harrah's. We are going to try to come down soon. WE ARE CRAVING U GODDA WANNA!!!!!!!
We say, "Party in our HUGE backyard!!!!!!" but not too many people want to trek up here, unless they're on their way to Wisconsin. We're only 15 minutes from Beloit (youch!!!).
Anyway, hoping to see y'all soon, including all our friends like Jan, Ed, Barb, Bob, etc.....

From what I hear there will be a huge crowd at Harrah's on the 11th. I would suggest getting there a bit early to get a seat. It's going to be a Rock n Roll night for sure!

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us last night at The Blue Iguana. It was great seeing our devoted fans plus making new fans is always a good thing. Our female vocalist Kim who just had a baby on 3/8 made a surprised appearance and was coaxed into doing a song with us. She was great as always and will be returning to the band in the near future. In the meantime Arieahn had another great evening of filling in for Kim and we appreciate it.
Just a reminder that the April 3rd gig in Aurora has been cancelled. We look forward to seeing everyone on April 17th in Lansing at Bottons Up. In the meantime....take care! Kevin

Just an update on our lead female vocalist Kim who just brought Paige Marie into this world on March 8th. Both Mom and baby are doing fine.
Kim will be returning to the band full time in September and we cannot wait. In the meantime, Arieahn will be filling in for her and we are so grateful to her for that. Hope to see you all this Saturday at the Blue Iguana.

Hi everyone! Thanks to all who have sent us their good wishes on baby Paige. It means so much to me to know you're thinking about us. Paige is doing great! She's absolutely beautiful and is getting bigger by the day. Daddy Stash has been home the past 2 weeks and has been a Godsend. He, unfortunately, returns to work tomorrow so I'm sure to lose my mind.

I miss you all and am looking forward to returning to the stage. I'll be out soon to catch a show, so hopefully I'll see some of you around.

Greetings Everyone;

Just when you thought your weekends were safe, we are back! U GODDA WANNA starts its 2004 schedule on Feb 6th & 7th at Rolling Lanes 6301 Joliet Rd in Countryside, IL. We have been very busy since November working with Kim's temporary replacement (Arieahn). For those of you who didn't know, Kim will be having a baby in the next 5-6 weeks and will return to the band in late summer or early fall. She promises to be at Rolling Lanes on one of the nights to root us on. Arieahn is a great singer who will be helping us out in Kims absence. I'm sure you will enjoy her. Kevin ( Big Daddy) Douglas has also returned to the band. It's great to have his strong vocals back. On Feb 6th The Excitable Boys will be opening up for us. They will hit the stage around 9:00. We will go on at 10. Come out early and give these guys some support. You will enjoy their show. On Feb 14th (Valentines Day) we will perform at SportsTime in Bridgeview, IL 7801 W. 79th St. Showtime 10:00pm. Thanks for your past support, you guys & gals are the best! Hope to see you in February.

Yesterday 11/30/03, I lost a great friend and a fellow musician. Roberto (Bobby) Garcia passed away at the young age of 51. I played in bands with Bobby since 1967 and he was one of the best rhythm guitar players I have ever known. He was one of the founding members of U GODDA WANNA and performed with us from 1990 thru 2001. Bobby thanks for your dedication and your friendship. I will miss you buddy. U GODDA WANNA will be performing from 5:00pm until 6:30pm followed by Storm Warning and No Obligation I think. Bring the kids as there will be plenty of games and things for them to do. As far as the adults go, bring your own beverage of choice and a chair. Food will be provided. The address is 8710 S. Sayre in Bridgeview. Parking across the street in church lot. I need to throw out a big thanks to Kevin (Big Daddy) Douglas for getting up on stage with us at The Edge this past Saturday and singing his songs like no one else can. It was fun jamming out Ice Cream Man & Jealous Again plus all the other ones. There will always be a mike available at our shows for you Big Daddy!!

Hello all...I had such a good time Saturday night and wanted to send shouts out to some of my favorites. First, thanks to Barb, Bob, Ed and Jan for coming out specifically, I think, to get Stash extremely wasted! (That's always fun.) In any event, it made for some humorous moments and it's always great to see you guys. Donna - I hope Patsy Cline was worth the 3 years you waited for it. We tried our damndest. A thanks to our new fan, Len, from Rolling Lanes for coming out and swearing he's gonna steal me away for the weekend to take me on a cruise! Thanks to my new best friend, Michelle, for being my "Dixie" dance partner and fellow Chicks fan. Thanks to Karen, Bruce, Cheryl and others I'm forgetting or don't yet know by name, for coming out and adding to the fun and thanks to the Edge staff for taking care of us and dancing with us too.

As much as I love you all, I'm happy to say we're taking July off to go on vacation and we'll see you in August! We will be playing one set on 7/12 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the 87th and Sayre block party in Bridgeview. It should be a great time if you need a UGW fix before August.

I just want to say thanks for the cards and flowers and well wishes for my speedy (ok, not so speedy) recovery. I miss you all sooooooo much! I'm not making any promises, but I hope to feel up to seeing you for at least 1 set on Saturday. I still can't do a whole lot.

Last chance to get your U GODDA WANNA fix is next week Saturday June 14th at The Edge. After that we are going on vacation until August. We will debut some songs you have not heard us play before at The Edge. Sorry cannot give you any hints. Hope to see you all come out. We will have two of my friends opening for us at The Edge. Hey Kev...

Just wanted to tell you we had a great time with you guys last saturday, Jay and her friend Lynn think you guys are so much fun to go out and see. Thanks again for a great nite of music and laughs.

So whats up 2 North Reel Tyme Productions? Will they run lights for you with another person? Do let me know whats up with that.

Remember July 13, Rich and Johnny and I will be having are party again, It's turning out to be more of an open jam more so then a Birthday party. Pass the word on to the guys in the band We would love to see you all come out and have some fun. Talk to you soon.
