The activity that I suggest is:
The classroom should be divided in groups of 10 students, for example, and the teacher gives them little sticks (or ‘pauzinhos de picolé’ I do not know how can I say this in English) – one hundred for example, it will depend on the context of the classes, I mean, what the teacher is teaching - and asks them to create something, I mean, to create a picture or an object with the sticks they have. So, the students of each group should discuss what they want to create, they have to share information and knowledge to put their ideas in the creation in order to construct what they want. Then, the teacher gives them time for this (30 minutes is ok) and after all this they have to present to the other students the invention and talk about it. They students that are presenting should interact with the others asking which object is the one they create, what they know about their invention, or who invents that and after all the group must talk about their invention, the group must bring to the classmates something new about their job or perhaps something interesting about it.
