The activity to be made up of the pupils imagine a terrible situation, for example, the airplane'crash where everyone escapes from the plane before it sinks and the student climb into a rubber life-raft with six other people.

After that, they must choose all importants things for survival (matches, a knife, a fresh water, a mirror, paper and pencil, food, pullovers, shelter, medical equipment, people's company, etc.) So they must compare priorities for the other nine things with other students and give your reasons: The most important thing after fresh water is...because...After that, ...etc.

The purpose is exchange information about the priorities of each other and to compare it.
This type of functional communication activity is PROCESSING INFORMATION.
