>>1) Write a narrative telling us your learning history.
>>Include your classroom experiences and all the actions
>>you performed in different contexts in order to learn
>>English.

my first contact with the english language was when i was about 11 (at school)... but the classes were horrible, and i decided to look for other ways to learn...

then, i started translating songs (from portuguese into english and from english into portuguese) and watching video classes broadcasted by the public tv...

when i was in high school, i had good classes of english...
the teachers used to incentivate the students to speak and communicate (specially by doing pair work activities).

i only started having private english classes when i was about 15/16... i started to study at fundacao cefetminas... there, i did an exam to determine my level and i went straight to the 5th one... this way, i have only studied there for one year and a half...

i started studying arts when i was 17, and, since the beginning, i was only interested in studying english here... so, here i am...

and they lived happy ever after....
the end.

>>2) Analyze you learning history according to the
>>communicative principles and tell us if there were some
>>of its characteristics in your learning experience.

about the basic structures of the english language, i think that i have learnt them more from watching video classes, than from other means...

when i started studying at cefet (where i studied in high school) and at fundacao cefetminas, i already had some good knowledge about the english language...

about those places... i cannot aver that they apply the communicative approach, because i don't remember every tiny little detail about the classes... but they really do stimulate the students to communicate and to express themselves...
