Hello people,


According to the text "Overcoming Common Problems Related to Communicative Methodology" tasks to classes may be meaningful, practical and fun for students. I think that the plan “Buy a Car by Karlys Well” does not fulfill these characteristics. First of all the age of the students make me suppose that Buy a car is not practical to them. Second, car use fascinate boys but it is not a subject that call the attention of girls. The goals of the task is not presented but they can be inferred in the plan: publishing to be placed in the library. I think that library is not a place where people use to consult to by a car. So, the goal is not meaningful or particle. The positive points of these plan is that it provides criteria that can help the students in their research such as the factors that must be considered to buy a car and criteria to compare the results of the research. In addition , The plan provide the possible places where students will find the material for their researches. In relation to the text, the plan does not fulfill a routine or framework neither the Student-Teacher relationship is clear in the plan presented to us. Finally, the plan seem to be to a L2 class but it is not specified in the plan.
