The New York Post says the number could be as high as nine now, with a Florida cocktail waitress and a New York City clubgoer among the latest to join the fray.
The New York Daily News reported Sunday that New Yorker Cori Rist, 31, met Woods at a local nightclub, making her the sixth named alleged mistress linked to Woods.
The Post followed Monday with a story that a 26-year-old yet-unnamed waitress is contending she carried on a two-year affair with Tiger, both before and during his marriage to Elin Nordengren.
These reports follow on the footsteps of perhaps the most scandalous story so far, with Mindy Lawton, a waitress/manager at a pancake restaurant in Florida claiming to have had a lengthy affair with Woods that ended in 2007.
That's about the time the National Enquirer reportedly caught the pair having sex in Woods' SUV, but agreed to keep it a secret in exchange for Woods appearing on the cover of Men's Fitness, which is owned by the same company, according to the New York Post.
Neal Boulton, the editor-in-chief for Men's Fitness at the time told the Post he resigned in disgust over the situation.
American Media CEO David Pecker, which owns both publications, denied Boulton's account, calling him "a disgruntled former employee."
Lawton gave her story -- with plenty of graphic details -- to the UK's News of the World.
Oprah Winfrey also called Tiger to offer advice -- and perhaps a spot on her show, according to the Daily News.
Other reports out of the UK media have the number reaching as high as 9, with an unnamed British TV personality and American adult actress Holly Sampson being rumored.
