The importance of genre approach is to give to the student an opportunity to learn different behavior of a word in different places and socio-groups. Some words change his values and definitions, which are going beyond the simple meaning and normal use. Some sentences or simply voice intonation can, sometimes, change the meaning resulting in a lack of communication. For example some language used in a Brooklyn District gang group could not be appropriate to be used in a medical group from Manhattan and vice-versa. That is the importance of Genre approach, know different aspects of language in different groups and contexts.
