Cultural Plurality
Goals
 Practice reading and speaking according with cultural themes;
 Expand vocabulary and learn specific expressions;
 Encourage critical thinking through the expression of ideas, values, and feelings.
Objectives
 To form cooperative working groups to read the little texts.
 Practice orally these expressions and present to the class.
Materials
 Polemics texts selected for the teacher with cultural information of the different countries;
 Maps and pictures according to cultures.
Procedure
1. Every group, it will read texts about the varieties culture.
2. After they read, they will share one each other the information about the things that they learn.
3. Students will select the same expressions, that appear in the texts.
4. They will use this expressions to talk about others culture that they already have knowledge.
5. Students will present for the class about an specific culture, questioning some costumes.
6. Students will give opinion if agree with some values, what their feelings about different costumes.
Evaluation
1. How students work in groups.
2. The capacity to understanding the text read.
3. The assimilation of new expressions
4. The ability to accept the others cultures.
