I didn't understand correctly. I, the admin, can choose between text emoticons and graphical emoticons. I thought if you typed B-) into your post you'd get a smiley with shades, but you don't. But if I set "text emoticons", then when you choose "Shades", instead of the graphical smiley, you get B-) as a message icon.

It's all terribly complicated, but I'm sure I'll get used to this mularky pretty soon...
