My handle was Jellybean - got on CB Easter of 1971. Lollypop lived across the street on East 81st Street.
By 1973 I started the Canarsie Radio Club which I morphed into Brooklyn REACT Team 2458.
Lots of fun and still have friends today from CB.

I was on in late 1970's early 80's. I remember hanging out at Mugsy's on east 103 st and playing softball for Popkins. Everyone would get together at Seaview park on the weekends. I also use to rollerskate with a bunch of you from the CB. Those days sure were fun. Where is everyone now? Would love to hear from those that remember me!!!!

Yes I was on in the 80's and my handle was Canarise Cookie or sometimes just Cookie...and I always was using the car cb....
Always was stepped on by all the people around me with the base units...and I was teased all the time about that.
So anyone out there?
I lived on 92nd street in Canarsie....and hung out on channel 31 and 34...

Thanks for the spell check and yes that is the correct spelling of the name, but not too important these days. I just appreciate that someone is still thinking of me. As of late, I was just talking to a NON-CB'er about the GOOD OLE' CB DAYS with all you wonderful Canarsie people. I miss it all and especially the old neighborhood. Wow, I was on CB from 1975 until about 1980. My handle was Juggernaut and my home channel was 18. I still have a couple of CB's and "Walkie T's" but I hardly turn them on because of the silence. Does anyone know when the funeral for CB Radio was held??
CB radio has died a tragic death due to the internet and cell phones (and outgrowth). It is really sad to hear the deafening silence and only skip on channel 31 and the other local channels. It is more challenging and fun to reach a distant contact on CB than it is on the (boring) internet.
It's hard to believe that the good old all American passtime such as CB radio has practically gone the way of the Dodo bird.
