After hearing about a blowup about this concerning topic, I have decided to write about it, lets just say if these two went at it, it would be david vs goliath, I am going to address this issue...
1. A player is elgible at a position when that player either plays 20 games at that position last year or plays 5 games in that position this year. For example Aubrey Huff. He played 30 games at first, 11 at third, and 12 at dh, this year hes played 7 games at third, 9 at 1b, 4 of, so therefore he qualifies at 1b and 3b for now, until he plays 5 games in the of, he will also qualify there as well. I did a run down of who's qulified where, so that way people know where they can play them
Aubrey Huff- 3b, 1b
Raul Ibanez- 1b, of
Jeremey Giambi- 1b, of
Aaron Boone- 3b, 2b
Jose Valentin- Ss, 3b
Chris Stynes- 2b, 3b
Phil Nevin- 3b, 1b
Craig Biggio- 2b, of
Eli Marrero- C, Of
Scott Spiezio- 3b, 1b
Ronnie Belliard- 2b, 3b
Mark Bellhorn- 1b, 2b, and 3b
Robert Fick- 1b, Of
Albert Pujols- 1b, 3b, and of
Melvin Mora- ss, of
D'Angelo Jiminez- 2b, 3b
Kevin Millar- 1b, of
Mark DeRosa- 2b, 3b, and SS
Guys who qualified for only one position
David Bell- 3b
Jose Hernandez- Ss
Mark Ellis- 2b
any questions send me an email, check www.mlb.com and click on the player you want and it will tell you how many games were played
