He, too, notices this peculiar response, a thought flickering momentarily behind the walls of his eyes. However, he realizes it would be best not to inquire further; the reaction had definitely not been an invitation. "You've lived here all of your life? Have you ever explored any of the other territories? I only began a few days ago, but almost everywhere I go is inactive; it's embarrassing." Though he can't quite explain his last statement, he backs it up with a firm, disappointed shake of his head anyway. "The king must be really lousy. I saw him once -- he didn't seem like much. Have either of you seen him?" He's never talked this much in his life, he realizes with a jolt. Though, he's never had the opportunity to talk with other foals -- with one exception -- before. He wonders vaguely if he's doing it right.
