 Apologetically, he shakes his head. "I'm sorry, but this Persian will only accept being groomed by me. You know their reputation. And it would be a shame if you got scratched or bitten."

The Persian purrs, looking at Dani with an evil glint in its eyes. The trainer puts a hand on its head, giving it a warning look. He then looks around, then leans in to whisper to her.

"Maybe try the guy in the corner. From what i've seen, his Pokemon need grooming urgently. He's got an Eevee and Arcanine that I've seen, and four other pokeballs."

Leaning against the table and scratching fondly behind his Persian's ears, he grinned at her. "But thanks very much for the offer."
