The Miss Georgia Forestry Pageant was started in 1940 to offer educational opportunities to young ladies while promoting and protecting our Forestry Industry. We are so excited to be able to offer these opportunities to young ladies in other states. We have so many people wanting to get involved with the Georgia Forestry Pageant because of the prizes and opportunities, we are so honored to be going to a National Pageant, so we can now offer these opportunities to girls in other states. We look forward to having the Forestry Industry promoted Nationally. The Miss United States National Forestry Scholarship Pageant(TM) will be held in Tifton, Georgia on September 3, 2005. We are seeking contestants. The pageant is open to all states. The Georgia Forestry Pageant and Educational Association, Inc. is the leaders of the oldest scholarship pageant in Georgia. The winners will have the opportunity to receive the official Miss United States National Forestry(TM) crown, banner, robe, silver engraved tray, flowers, scholarships, gifts, and the opportunity to promote the Forestry Industry Nationally with Smokey Bear. The age divisions will be Tiny Miss ages 3 to 6 years, Little Miss ages 7 to 9 years, Junior Miss ages 10 to 12 years, Teen Miss ages 13 to 16 years and Miss ages 17 to 23 years.
