由2005年夏天開始,我開始了人生中的第一個fashion course。
不敢說現在已經學會很多。但是回想起來, 雖然只是一個intro course, 教的東西都很皮毛,
但卻做到最重要的一樣東西 - 很inspiring

對於一個intro course, 能教的東西可以有多少?學生們是否真的有興趣也未知。
啟發學生的思考, 讓他們認清創作過程中的苦與樂,再考慮是不是要繼續下去,是最重要的。
(如果小學同中學都可以係咁就好了)

作為一個short course, 時間有限, tecnical方面的東西只佔小部份,
很難想像以這樣的程度可以完成一個fashion project。
但T老師卻堅持要我們無論用什麼方法也要自己完成整個project。
可以是illustration的profolio, 也可以是做/改一件衫出來。

對於那時候的我們要做一件衫出來, T說: 「無論多難, 因為是只做一件, 是一定能夠做得出來的。」
(話語中聽得出大量生產有時候會限制了創作空間的苦處。)

我選擇了後者。
那時候沒有衣車沒有dummy沒有學過裁剪,中二家政拿"D--"(太過份了, 真的寫了兩個減號!)
覺得自己很勇!

那時候心像是要跳出來似的, 不是緊張,是興奮, 躍躍欲試的感覺。

做完之後覺得自己很勁, 現在看回那時的東西當然覺得很幼嫩,
但是勇氣可加, 而且idea很不錯。(自己讚自己)
那時候同學們就是因為沒有包(服), idea都是很天馬行空的。

後來在另外兩所學校上課, 都沒有遇到這樣inspiring的老師
但是卻有機會學technical方面的東西。
絲印跟立體剪裁都是很有趣!

好像好久都沒有「心像是要跳出來」的感覺了, 後來做公司annual dinner的costume,
壓力大過一切,
不知道何來這樣大的膽,在毫無經驗之下接個job是要在成千人面前表演的...
(很是驚心動魄, 如果做衰左, 唔知會唔會比人炒...?)

後來用家中的剩餘物資在短時間內做起Jan做styling的衣服,
但這一次因為有了經驗, 又不用買料, Jan又提供了theme,
只是按theme諗款,感覺是得心應手!(是fail and relatives的series 2呢)

每一次要交project, 幫function做衫, 都做到pa係度,好似會就黎死咁。
但是很快樂, 我好感謝神。

休息過幾個月了, 如無意外, 六月又再開始學習新的東西了。
希望會是另一個突破!(當然同fashion有關)
