　之前他於港台節目接受訪問時被指揭其他三大天王的瘡疤，城城解釋他只是想舉例激勵大家，相信大家會明白及認同，他是出自真心讚美三人，他們是不會介意的，而他本身也不介意被人誤會。城城說：「我想鼓勵大家，遇到挫折唔好氣餒，要積極，華仔、黎明同學友之前都有分享自己黈嬪憿C（學友否認醉酒打人？）佢否認隉A出面齯H唔知，外間會覺得係，好似我都被人誤解。（你以前灡嬪憿A會否介意被人再拿出來講？）唔介意，遲羉t講我都會講。」
