Happy new year guys and gals! My brother broke the comp, tis why I aint been 'ere for so long but finally it's fixed! Hope you all had a good Christmas in my absence??? (NT)Marina05:43:24 01/03/02 Thu
It's possible, you could run out of crackers or those amusing popping thingies...... *grins* But I guess that didn't happen it's fine! (NT)Marina13:32:49 01/04/02 Fri
You're not missing that much really. A bang, a cheap plastic toy, a paper hat and a joke that's as old as the hills is all they are. *smiles* (NT)Marina10:11:09 01/08/02 Tue
*laughs* My parents probably wouldn't trust me with those...I might blow up the house!! (NT)Dakkan the dangerous-with-explosives-of-ANY-sort!13:30:54 01/10/02 Thu
Yeah I suppose. We get them all the time so the novelty has kinda worn off. (NT)Marina02:32:49 01/15/02 Tue
Yeah we have those. They seem to be a favourite with the little kids on our street at the moment. (NT)Marina08:03:36 01/16/02 Wed
Really? What about colour.... can't think of any more right now.... (NT)Marina03:57:16 01/20/02 Sun
umm, "labour" and "flavour" come to mind...I think that's interesting too. But y'all out there in the UK probably think it's our spelling that's weird...or maybe that we're just too lazy to stick in the extra "u"! *grins*Dakkan07:55:45 01/21/02 Mon
I couldn't stand being taught by my Mum, I'd go stark raving barmy within two days! I wont be around on the board much this week, I have some Geography coursework to do and it is tres dificile! (probably spelt that wrong) See you at the weekend most likely... Bye for now. (I have eaten too many prezels... maybe I could do a President Bush impression?!) (NT)Marina11:49:45 01/22/02 Tue
High blood pressure??? He never mentioned that on the news. He said one of em got stuck in his throat and he blacked out from not bein able to breathe. There's a moral behind that one - always chew before you swallow. I made some chocolate pretzels today! It was very messy and took ages but I did it, only problem now is that they are stuck to a plate in the fridge and wont budge! Honestly... the strangest things happen to me... (NT)Marina10:32:48 01/23/02 Wed
I know, it's a perfectly normal thing to happen - I mean, everybody chokes on food once in a while, but cos it's George W Bush everyone went mad. It's the same with the Queen Mum and that fish bone, though that was a bit more serious I think. (NT)Marina05:20:48 01/27/02 Sun
Ages ago the Queen Mother got a fish bone lodged in her throat, that had to be surgically removed. That's what I meant by serious, in that she's an old lady and she could have been hurt badly. (NT)Marina11:37:32 01/31/02 Thu
I think it was quite a long time ago, maybe before we were born or when we were only little tots. (NT)Marina03:53:34 02/10/02 Sun
I was mentioned for some reason on the news not long ago. Princess Margaret (the Queen's little sister) died on Saturday, I thought that was really sad but she has been really ill. (NT)Marina06:59:16 02/12/02 Tue
Oops, typo! I meant "It was mentioned on the news... lol! (NT)Marina07:00:25 02/12/02 Tue
I know, the person I feel most sorry for is the Queen Mum. I mean, she's pretty sick too (she's 101 years old!) and she has to go to her own daughter's funeral which would be awful. (NT)Marina05:06:15 02/13/02 Wed
She did hurt herself, bless her. She fell out of a her chair and cut her arm :( I have no idea how she does it. My Aunty once looked after a woman aged 106! Hey Salpik, course I remember you... I think the Queen Mum is 101, but she might be 102 (NT)Marina02:49:49 02/16/02 Sat
My Mum's aunty is 91 - and she's most upset because the doctor told her she shouldn't ride her bike anymore! She doesn't look anything like as old as she is, she could pass as a 60-something year old. (NT)Marina10:19:13 02/21/02 Thu
