It was a hit summers eve when I walked outside to watch the sun set. Being little always struck amazement in a young otter. I sat in my usual spot by Sun shine lake and watched. That evening seemed very different to me. Something wasn't right, but the feeling didn't bother me enough to go home and make sure everything was alright.
I watched the beautiful sun set with its colors so radiant. With its oranges and reds, along with pink I felt calm and at ease. Nothing in the whole world could stop this spectacular feeling of amazement, wonder, and joyfulness.
I went straight home as I was told to by my mother and father, Jaki and Traitle. As I walked home I enjoyed the views. You could hear the birds sing thier songs of joy and the squirrels playing with their newly made slings that they got for their fall holiday thats no one but the squirrels celebrated.
I was so happy that I decided to run home to greet my parents. I ran the rest of the way home feeling the wind against my face as I zipped by. When I finally got home I opened the door very quickly to see greeting parents, but what I saw was the most terrifying thing I have ever seen in my whole life! My mother, laying on the floor, and my father fighting some sort of fox like creature!
"Naka! Run! Run to your auntsy Hakuna! Don't ask questions! Go Now!"
So I tried to run out but the fox like creature caught me before I had a change to escape his horrible grasp! Pointing his bloody saber at me he said in the most hoarse vocie I have ever heard words of the most death.
"Your Parents are no more!"

Hey, tis better than I can do. And don't feel bad, Dak is good at everything! I think it is awesome, but it kinda irks me that no one in redwall seems to have all of their family alive, yet the population hasn't died out. I don't have parents cuz I was to lazy to make them up. praps I should sometime... (NT)Silvershadow14:42:28 09/18/02 Wed
