片名為Alexander，不是Alexander the Great，其中並無褒貶義，故應譯為「亞歷山大」而非「亞歷山大大帝」。我從不認為發動不必要的戰爭，殺害無辜人民，破壞人類文化者是英雄。亞歷山大如是，成吉思汗如是，他們都不配受「大帝」的尊稱。無論他們手上的權力和土地多驚人，都不能遮掩雙手上無辜婦孺的血跡。殺得人多、搶得地多的就是英雄嗎？
我們沒有必要刻意尊稱這樣的人。我不贊成膜拜權力或種族。
