我也喜歡看陶傑的專欄。不過，年輕作家中，我寧願看關麗珊，而不愛讀黃碧雲。如果說關麗珊在專欄中自高身價，那比她更甚的大有人在，在自己的專欄抬舉自己的專業地位，目的何在？「背詩大」不妨在明報眾專欄中看看比較。濫用／誤用古文古詩底子，亦不一定寫得出好內容。詞藻優美不等於內容優美。我姑且稱之為文章的「外在美」和「內在美」。
