關於青少年追星問題，其實很平常，因為喜歡幻想本就是我們的天性，每一代的年輕人都會有自己喜歡的偶像，這幾乎是社會定理。相信上一輩的人也被批評過只「喜歡張國榮，不是蕭伯納」吧? 所以「追星族」其實並非單是現今青少年獨有的問題，既然上一輩的人沒有因為追星導致現今社會人才短缺，那麼追星就不應是我們對年輕人悲觀的原因。而且我相信沉迷捧偶像的始終是少數，試想在喜歡twins、喜歡碧咸的那些「大多數」中，是真的會去通宵排隊等偶像的多，還是只抱欣賞、消遣態度去捧場的多呢? 要了解青少年是否自發上進，其實是否應更全面、更深入地去看，而不是只看表面或某部分? 青少年不夠好，是否單是冷眼旁觀或「踩多兩腳」便能使之成長?

我明白為何ky會如此不屑年青人，有時我對同輩的某些所作所為也頗看不過眼的。但當我們把不滿的目光從「喜歡twins」的一群稍稍移開，我們可看到七一穿黑衣的二千幾個中學生聯盟會員為社會高喊口號，然後我們會再看到現在穿橙衣的人民批，這時我們本來緊皺的眉頭便會鬆下。青少年有好有壞，好的也許是少數，但不應會少得只有零星數目的。
