　　前天看過你寫關於歌手的專欄，深感同意。現在的歌手很多只是講求「包裝」，卻沒有實力。這情況令流行曲越來越不好聽。
　　除此之外，流行曲還有另一個問題──填詞。現在的流行曲歌詞十分庸俗，沒有意義。近年的歌曲更有自虐傾向，連聽歌的人也是，叫什麼爛泥、垃圾的歌，竟是最受歡迎的。這些歌我也聽過，不知是我有問題，還是我有個性﹔我覺得這些歌的詞填得很糟，有點厭惡，而且很不悅耳。
　　我認為歌詞好比詩，應有其含意，不須講求過份的優美，但不可過於俗套和直接。好的歌曲和歌詞能觸動人的心靈、百聽不厭、永遠流傳。但現在的歌都是過耳即逝，時間久了便會遺忘。
