I don't think Hong Kong Chinese should bother to boycott Rolling Stones. There may be many Rolling Stones fans in Hong Kong, but not "that many". Instead, I am worrying about the possible hugh losses of unsold tickets.

I wonder whether Rolling Stones are more popular than e.g. Leon Lai in Hong Kong. I doubt how many people will be willing to pay aweful lots of money for Rolling Stones tickets. I am not saying it is impossible to achieve 50% full as plan. My question is how probable it is.

The performance of the Hong Kong Government officials in the matter was disappointing. No accountability to Legislative Council. No control over the matter that involves several tens of millions of tax money.

I heard from the news that the American said it was just a "small" matter and Hong Kong people often exaggerated small matters (not exact wording). What a gracious comment.

Maybe according to him, spending tens of millions of tax money is small matters. Delaying acceptance of invitation and let Hong Kong people feel disrepected are also small matters. And I doubt how he drew a conclusion that "Hong Kong people often exaggerated small issues". I did not hear him apologise for the chaos and hard feeling suffered by Hong Kong people.

What did Hong Kong Government say about this "comment" about Hong Kong people by that American, to whom she trusted with a large project and got this "marvellous" result? Did Hong Kong government agree that Hong Kong people often exaggerate small issues?

It is like a Mainlander's motto, "I order food and you pay the bill". How generous! Where is our skin before Americans, my dear Hong Kong Government?

Enjoy being "rocked" (滾)! :)
