Subject: 香港人當年為什麼擁護董建華?

各位好,

1996年底,董建華當選特區首屆行政長官,香港隨即興起'擁董'熱潮.無線電視在選舉完結當晚進行民意調查,董建華得到71分.

當年'反董'的人是'邊緣人',是小數派.我當年沒有參與'擁董',因為我覺得董建華在政治上太嫩,有待觀察.

當年香港人'擁董'的原因主要有下幾項:

(1)董建華樣貌敦厚老實,形象好.

(2)董建華兩文三語都好.

(3)董建華將家族生意搞得好.董亦經歷過'風浪'(其實東方海外單野係中國國務院注資救董).

(4)董建華曾是港英行政局議員.港督彭定康會同行政局締造了香港繁榮(事實是彭定康將行政局功能改變,議員只用作諮詢).

(5)當年社會流行一種說法:廿一世紀是中國人的世紀.董建華既是高等華人,由他執政呢舖實掂!

(6)當年華人官員'咁能幹',彭定康亦說過'香港公務員是世界上最優秀的公務員'.有呢班人協助董,董值得擁護也,擁董實冇衰啦!

(7)當年香港形勢一片大好,邊個做特首都會好啦!擁董啦!

還有其他原因嗎?請告訴我.

今天,香港市民對董建華管治怨聲載道,齊齊高喊'倒董'.

回想當年,想起上述種種'擁董'原因,哭笑不得!!!
