Subject: Re: The article abt travelling to russia from Ming Pao

Hi Ms Kwan,

I am a reader from Ming Pao. I always read abt you mentioning ur travelling experiences and I would like to ask for some advices.

My employment contract is recently terminated and I am not planning to seek for a job at the moment. I have saved enough money for a long trip and I want to go to some places with rich cultural or historical background. I am thinking of Russia or some north europe countries for the beautiful scenary.

However, I have some problem, would u or other people here share ur view on this:

Altho' I have the financial and time support to go for a long trip (1 to 3 months and even 6 months is ok for me) but I dont have a travelling companion. My boyfriend, my sister, my friends and my parents r all occupied and no one can risk their job to apply for a long vacation. Therefore I really need to go alone or r there any organization for me to know some travel companion for a long trip?

I am very bad at reading map, it must be something inborn! Whenever I travel, I am the one who take care of eveything else but the map! Therefore, I am a good travel companion but I cant read the map, what can I do?

It is really a very good time of my life as I am unattached and I am unemployed so I can really go for a long trip but I need to solve the aforementioned problem first, I dont want to waste my time but the infomation that I get from people around me r scarced..

thanks a bunch!

p.s. my travelling experience is not so rich, I have been to London for a month with my sister, to france with families, and other aisan countries..
