『無間道』只是票房好，也算是好戲一套，但離『最好』實在太遠，往年周星馳可以憑『少林足球』勝許鞍華的『男人四十』奪香港金像獎的最佳導演，本地的流行文化的取向可見一二，香港有史以來CAST最強的戲也是最爛的戲，張國榮，張曼玉，張學友，梁朝偉，梁家輝，劉嘉鈴，王祖賢,鐘鎮濤，拍出了一套『東成西就』。
