Subject: SOD: Matthew Walks Again!

The Buchanans’ prayers are answered (just in time for Christmas) when Matthew takes his first steps after his surgery. “It’s about time,” extols Eddie Alderson (Matthew). “Matthew’s had enough.”

Danielle, who is with Matthew, “encourages him to walk, then Destiny comes in and sees him walking for the first time and sees that he’s with Danielle, so she gets kinda jealous,” Alderson previews. “And once he finally walks again, I think he realizes how much he had gone through – all the arguments he had with his parents, going to boarding school and just a lot of the drama – and it finally all comes to the moment he’s been wishing for for almost a year.”

It’s also a wonderful moment for his parents, Bo and Nora, who have just been reamed out by Clint. Considering that Matthew attempted to blackmail his parents after spying them kissing, is he okay with them reuniting? “He loves his Uncle Clint, but ever since Matthew was a little kid, he’s always said he wants his parents to get back together and that he wants them to be a family again,” says Alderson. It seems there are Christmas miracles all around for Matthew, Bo and Nora.

YES! YES! YES! Thanks MaryAnn. This just gave me the confirmation I needed! I am so happy Matt is gonna come around and be happy for his Mother and Father. I was thinking about all those cute little schemes he use to conjur up to get his mom/dad together!

I'm just hoping his father is there to witness his first steps. Since he didn't see his "first" first steps, this would be the icing on the cake!
