Short FF- "I Finally Have it"

I'm not sure who decided that computers are helpful for a student, because I keep watching Bo and Nora instead of studying!! If I could only focus on my paper like I did in this FF... I'd be the student of the year!! LOL!!

"I Finally Have It"

Nora walked outside and found Bo sitting on the bunch in the ranch's parlor.

"What are you doing sitting here, Buchanan? It's so freaking cold!" Nora smiled and sat next to Bo, cradling in his arms.

"Thinking�"

"About Mitch?"

"No" Bo answered and looked at the big Texas's sky for another moment. He looked at Nora and smiled embarrassingly.

Nora waited for him to continue, but when she noticed his smile, she nudged him "Oh, C'mon, now you've got to tell me�"

Bo laughed "I was thinking about Asa".

"Asa?" Nora asked surprisingly and turned to look at the sky too. Asa's presence was strong in that place. They both sank in their thoughts for awhile. "I wonder what he would have said about us".

Bo tracked the sadness in her voice. He knew Asa loved her like a daughter and he sensed she was afraid she disappointed him. He turned to look at her "He'd have been happy".

"You think?" Nora turned to look back at Bo as she asked. Bo nodded. She laughed as she remembered how many times Asa schemed in his way to bring them together "I guess you're right. He'd have probably said something like�. Hmmmm�." she cleared her throat and mimic Asa's voice "Woman, it's about time, you'd listen to me!"

Bo laughed "Or maybe something like� 'Son, I'm writing your name back in my will again!".

Nora laughed. She looked at Bo and just smiled gently while she squeezed his hand "I really miss him".

"Me too" Bo softly smiled back at her. Nora caressed his face tenderly and he leaned his forehead against hers. There was no need for more words as they savored the moment. Cherishing their good luck at finding each other again.

Bo smiled "Nora, your nose is freezing".

Nora laughed "Well, it's freezing out here".

Bo smiled mischievously "I think I know a way to warm you up a little bit�."

Nora's eyes lightened "So what are you waiting for, mister?"

They laughed as Bo grabbed her hand and leaded her upstairs.

The next morning Nora woke up and found Bo staring at her. She smiled.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"Watching you" Bo answered.

Nora laughed "Well, I can see that�"

Bo smiled and kissed her forehead "You're so sweet when you're asleep".

Nora chuckled and pretended to be hurt "What does that mean? That I'm not sweet while I'm awake?"

Bo laughed and pulled her under him. He smiled mischievously "Oh, you are even sweeter when you're awake�"

Nora laughed and Bo kissed her. They were so happy.

"I missed that" Nora smiled as she let her finger trail along his face "Waking up in the morning and have you as my first sight".

Bo smiled and kissed her "And I thought you missed the jokes�"

"Are you kidding?" Nora smiled as she turned him back, so she was on top of him "You're lucky I have a good humor and even get your jokes, because I've always been funnier than you�"

She kissed him and Bo pushed her back and turned her on her back again "No, you haven't" he said and kissed her again. Passionately. "But you're definitely a good kisser!"

Nora laughed embarrassingly "Right back at you, Buchanan!". She said and kissed him again.

When they broke the kiss for some air, Bo looked at her and moved her hair aside from her forehead "Thank you, Red".

"For what?"

"For making me happy again�"

Nora smiled "So you admit I'm funnier!!" she kissed him slightly.

"I said happy not amused!" Bo laughed and kissed her nose. "You know, your nose is cold again, Red�"

Nora laughed "I really love you, Buchanan� really�" they laughed and their lips met again. They deepened their kiss when Nora said between kisses "You know� we should� get up� to check out� the kids�" .

"I� know�" Bo answered between kisses "But I can't� let go of� you now�".

Nora stopped and stared at him. Then she smiled "Me too" and kissed him again.

For so long she dreamed about those mornings when she wakes up beside him and she was grateful for her good fortune to finally have it again. So it was no wonder it took them a long time before they were finally able to let go of each other.

What a great story!! I loved it. And yes...Asa would be ecstatic!!

Now get back to studying. You cannot use Bo and Nora as excuse when you fail!!!

Cute story, Shiri! I'm glad you took time out of your busy study schedule to entertain us with this story. I think we all miss Asa. I would really love to see his reaction of Bo and Nora back together.

Aww Shiri I miss Asa so much!!! Thanks for this lovely story. I hope we get to see a similar conversation while they stay in Texas.

That was wonderful, Shiri!!! Thanks for writing this and posting this. I have often thought during the past couple of months how happy Asa would be that Bo and Nora were back together. I really wish he had been around. I don't think he would feel sorry for Clint at all.

Wonderful story Shiri. Asa would have been thrilled that Bo and Nora are back together. I really miss him. I hope we see scenes like this in Texas on the show.

Aw, Shiri, great job! I totally agree - this is so Bo and Nora! You really captured both characters. I only hope and pray we get something like this in the very near future. :o)
