Subject: Quick Poll for Friday

Who's going to be off and watching live on Tuesday? Are you taking off of work (cough cough), skipping school (bad kids), or just off anyways?

If you have good excuses to use with bosses and teachers - please share!! I'm sure people will need them!!

I'm working. Mainly because it would KILL me to have to watch live. I'd just want Bo and Nora and I'd end up with other crap to watch. This way I can FF everything but B&N.

Well, I work at a school as a tech. I am probably going to sneak off into and empty classroom and watch! Of course I'll take apart a computer or printer in the room so I will technically be "working".

Miraculously I am off tuesday AND wednesday... So I'm covered even in case of pre-emption... Hey! I'm not trying to jinx anything, but come on after everything we've been through... Kidding... Sort off... Sort of like Bo was only half jealous of Rappadork... Still I'm with you MA, not watching live... Can't possibly sit through all the crap... Seriously, do we NEED to go through T&T every freakin' day??? I know I don't...

I don't work so I will be home. It's funny because I always tell my mother who I live with, "I don't want to be disturbed between 2 and 3pm." just in case Bo & Nora are on. But I am not sure I can watch it live lol... because if someone knocks on my door... well there could be bloodshed lol ;-D

I'm the boss and told my Assistant that I wanted the day off. No one is gonna tell the boss "No." Most of them know why I'm taking it off though, and they just laugh. They think it's hilarious!

Since I'm retired (YEA!!!!!!!!!!)I'll be watching live sorta....I developed this technique that I let the show start without me while I fix my lunch....them I reverse the DVR at about the half way point to the beginning and start with Bo and Nora and watch just the Bo and Nora parts(FF the other parts) until it comes to the live part...if I don't like who is on then (TNT etc), I go back and watch the Bo and Nora parts all over again till I get to a new BnN segment....by then the show is just about over, I reverse and watch BnN and repeat as many times as needed!

However Tuesday is always "big grandkids day" here with Danner and Kelly so that will have to be swapped out for Wed. this week. They are homeschooled so that won't be a problem! Grammie doesn't want any interuptions that day!

I just work 1/2 days, so I'm usually off for show time anyway. But I'm usually not home or available to watch live. I'll just have to see what Tuesday brings. My dvr is always set, so it will be recorded. I cannot stand to watch live, so if anything I'll start watching about 30 minutes in to it so I can ff all the other crap!

I'm going to work but will have it recorded then at lunch I'm going to run home and watch it since I don't live far from work. I will have to watch it like a hundred times though. I'm probably going to burn up the rewind button I'm sure. Oh well, worst case senario I can watch on youtube. I hate watching live because you have to watch all that other mess they put on.

I'm not sure if I'm lucky or not, but by the time the show ends it's already 10 pm here, so I took the morning shift at work so I can be home at night (but that also means I have to wait ALL day until it's finally the hour!!). Then I have to wait some more until it comes to the net too!

BUT... since my semester ended yesterday I can watch it how much I want on the following day, since I decided not to let my Boss know that I'm off now! Of course I'd need to study for some exams, but only God knows how I'd do it!! I'm bad bad girl (or student!)!! LOL!!

We are going to be out town until Tuesday and will be driving home when OLTL is on. I tried to get my husband to come home earlier but then decided I better put MY marriage first. If for some reason my VCR fails I know this site will have it. I'm still so sad that I am going to miss it live.

Well all I have to say is be careful what you wish for. Back in July I was thinking of all kinds of excuses so I could get out of working on July 28th when Bo and Nora had their second 'first' kiss. Needless to say I was getting in my car to go to work that morning and my car would not start. I had a dead battery, no kidding. Thus I don't know if you want to call it karma or just payback for thinking of excuses to try and get out of work but Bo and Nora's second 'first' kiss cost me $180.00, but it sure was worth it. LOL!

With that said, I carried over a lot of PTO time from last year in case of emergencies (or in case of great Bo and Nora moments). I do have a ton of work to do but I may just take a half day so I can watch it live. It will kill me to be at work when I know what I will be missing. I am going to tell my boss that I have something personal to take care of. Let's just hope this episode doesn't wind up costing me any money. LOL!

I will be at work, ugh! Of course, Tuesday at 1pm is my regular case debriefing with one of my staff. Even though I'm the boss, can't get out of it. Missed 3 days of work this month already due to ice and snow storms. Will look forward to getting live updates here on this site, hint, hint:)

I know this is a day late, anyhoo, i've decided to go to work on Tuesday. So I'll read Cindy's recap, fantasize for 8 hours and when I get home by 10:00 look at the episode for about 4hrs straight. My rewind button on the dvr will get a workout.
