For the second year in a row, ABC Daytime and SOAPnet have signed on as the presenting sponsor of the 2010 Stagecoach Country Music Festival powered by Toyota. The event, held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, is a part of ABC Daytime and SOAPnet’s Soap Nation Tour, an ongoing initiative to bring the stars to more fans in more cities more often.
As part of the sponsorship, actors from all three award-winning soaps, “All My Children” (AMC), “One Life to Live” (OLTL) and “General Hospital” (GH), will be integrated into the event, introducing musical acts and interacting with fans on the Mane Stage. Throughout the weekend and located in a highly visible location near all the action, concert-goers will have the opportunity to visit a company-branded tent and RV where ABC and SOAPnet will hold autograph sessions, run giveaways and raffles and offer visitors the chance to relax with manicures and massages through the Soap Nation mini-spa. Talent confirmed to attend (subject to change and in alphabetical order) include Bobbie Eakes, Melissa Claire Egan and Vincent Irizarry from “All My Children,” Kristen Alderson, Brandon Buddy, Kassie De Paiva, Hillary B. Smith, Bree Williamson and Robert S. Woods from “One Life to Live,” and Bradford Anderson, Brandon Barash and Laura Wright from “General Hospital.” Go to www.soapnet.com for additional details.
In addition, customers who purchase tickets as of Friday, January 29 via ticketmaster.com with the special code SOAPNATION will receive a bonus of attending a special “meet and greet” event with key soap talent attending the weekend’s festivities. It's nice to see them invited to these types of events again. It seems like they usually include the younger ones instead.

I'm hoping that it's an indication that we will have a Bo and Nora filled May sweeps and they're out doing promotions for that!! We can always hope!!

Does anybody know what days HBS &RSW will be there. I would really like to attend, I've never seen Hillary in person yet. I saw RSW at the Soap Opera Digest awards in 1999.

I don't think any events planned for that weekend will be out as a schedule just yet. I would say maybe the end of March some sort of schedule as to what the stars agendas will be for what days might be up at the Soap Nation site. But if you are interested in going you would have to check back later at the Soap Nation site and see if anything is up for Hillary and Bob. Any event I have ever gone to I have looked up any info that I would need to know from the site where the event was happening.

I know what u mean. I live here in California, I was just thinking about the fact that I couldn't make the luncheon bacause it was in New York, hoping that they would throw something here in Calfornia for the fans that are here on the West Coast. The tickets are a little pricey for me too, but I really want to see Hillary & Robert in person. The funny thing is I don't really listen to alot of country music, I just want to see them so I'm going to go.

I plan on attending, but to try meet the January 29, 2010 deadline for VIP would be impossible for me. I think I am going to continue to check the website to see when Hillary & Robert are going to be there and then purchase my tickets then. I would love to go I haven't been to any of the OLTL events, since they are usually in NY and I'm in Texas. To bad the news didn't break sooner I could have gone but I have already made plans for the big vacation with tickets and hotel already purchased, I guess I will just have to make do with Hawaii and seeing them on the dvr.
Whoever goes I hope you have fun and take lost of pics.
