I like it - when he first started calling her Red and now, simply because it seems to melt her heart! And it is a sign that things are going to be okay - because they are together.

My guess is that the first time he called her Red it was probably scripted. But I know that when he called her Red the first time in 2009 it was NOT scripted. Whether they discussed it at rehearsal or RSW just threw it out there I don't know. All I know is that it wasn't in the script.

I just read the scene in the fave scenes section. Bo calls her the lady in red just before he calls her red for the first time.

Huh, I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing, Mary Ann. I lean toward the thinking that HBS and RSW did not discuss that during rehearsal. The reaction from Hillary was just, I don't know, WOW! And I remember thinking at the time that she really nailed that reaction. Guess she may have been just as surprised as I was that Bo called Nora "Red."
