SID/SOD/SOW/Misc Previews & Tidbits
SID
In Depth Preview
Main story is on Mitch kidnapping Jess. There is one section that mentions BO and NORA and that's all I'll type up.
UNITED FRONT
From a prior section, Brody informs Viki that Jess is missing. In this section, Viki tries to contact Clint, but he is too busy canoodling with Kim. She then calls BO and NORA, who along with Brody exhaust all of their resources to find Jess. They know that Lowell is working with Mitch and won't offer any help. Rex tracks Clint down and convinces him to put the issues he has with BO aside so they can work together to find Jess ---- and keep the rest of the family safe.
SOD
BO AND NORA MAKE LOVE
[Picture of them sitting on the couch in London ... Calm Before The Storm: NORA and BO make love before more Mitch drama ensues.]
This week marks a milestone in BO and NORA's love affair when they make love for the first time since they reunited. "It's like all the planets are lined up," comments Robert S. Woods of this romantic occasion.
"The word's out, it's after the big embarrassing New Year's thing, so they're living at the garret now with Matthew," Woods sets up. "They've been very respectful of Clint and the fact that she was still married," Hillary B. Smith adds. "And they've been outed in probably the worst possible way. Even though they technically did not cheat on Clint ---- other than the affair of the heart --- everyone believes that they have. So there's a lot that's lost. But it doesn't matter, they have each other. And that's what it comes down to." All the while, they haven't consummated their reunion out of respect for Clint. "The most you've seen them do is touch fingers and put their foreheads together!" Smith notes. But now that the divorce is final, the stage is set for them to make love.
"Of, course, there are boxes around and stuff, so it would have been nice if there was some furniture," Woods quips. "But it's like the old BO and NORA; it can't just be something regular. There's Chinese Food on the ground on a quilt --- it always a good sign when they're eating again --- so it's like, 'All systems are go!' It kinda happens on the floor there, on pillows and stuff. It's pretty impromptu. No phones ring, no one serves them papers; Dorian, the mayor isn't there to give them a citation for something."
The soap vet admits that he had a good chuckle when he was told that there would be a NORA/BO love scene. "I think it's better if it happens in people's minds," laughs Woods. "I don't know if people want to watch them get after it. They might want to watch her, but there are other things they can show. They can just cut to the terrace or the candles."
While several other couples are also in the throes of passion when they're interrupted by the news of Jess's kidnapping, BO and NORA don't find out until later. As a result, the two of them are delegated to take Bree and Shane to Asa's ranch in Texas to keep them safe from Mitch. So much for the afterglow ......
FEBRUARY SWEEPS
"We have a storm brewing in town. You could call that storm Mitch Laurence or you could call it the blizzard that is heading toward Llanview with a vengeance," forecasts Head Writer Ron Carlivati. "You're going to see birth, death, secrets that get blown, big confrontations, a frozen lake and lives in jeopardy. It's pretty dramatic.
There's no mention of B/N. Just the Cramer Women, Todd/Tea/Viki, John/Brody/Nat, and Jess/Mitch/Stacy/Rex.
SOW
Nothing mentioned about B/N.

Smashup on One Life to Live
by Michael Logan January 19, 2010 11:12 AM EST
The auto insurance rates are about to skyrocket on One Life to Live. In early February, half the characters on the ABC soap will be involved in a multi-car collision during a snowstorm on Llantano Mountain. Exec producer Frank Valentini promises the pile-up, which includes a massive explosion, “will be more epic in scale than the plane crash we staged [in 2006] and the impact more far-reaching. It’ll blow everyone’s mind.”
You can blame the whole mess on slimy psychopath Mitch (Roscoe Born) who has kidnapped his daughter Jessica (Bree Williamson) and taken her to his mountain hideaway. Ultimately 15 characters end up at the locale with various intentions—to save Jessica, to shoot Mitch, to reveal paternity secrets, to find out the fate of loved ones.
And there’s consider fall-out: Natalie (Melissa Archer) is severely injured and Mitch gives Jessica electro-shock therapy which so warps her brain that she psychologically regresses to her teenage years. In a nutsy twist, a still–delusional Jessica will start a new life as a student at Llanview High! “This will be a chance for the audience to see what Jessica was like before the split personality,” Valentini says. “I think we all have a fantasy of going back to high school and retracing your steps. After a couple of really tough years, this’ll be an exciting second-chance story for Jessica.” And she won’t just be hittin’ the books at school—she’ll also find love there. (Valentini promises there’s no jailbait involved).
OLTL will also use the mountain catastrophe to bump off that demonically evil stripper Stacy Morasco (Crystal Hunt), who has become one of the most despised characters in soap history. Word is, her exit involves a fall through the ice and the use of some pretty spectacular effects. Valentini’s keeping mum about it, except to say “Whether you hate Stacy or love to hate her, February is your month. The end is going to be very satisfying for everybody. It’s really kind of delicious.”

THIS WEEK ON: ONE LIFE TO LIVE
And Greg and Rachel are forced to postpone their romantic evening on Tuesday, January 26.
The Inside Story: The Chosen One
Brody and Viki are certain that one of Mitch's thugs is to blame for Jessica's sudden disappearance. Kim puts the moves the Clint, only to be interrupted by Nora who informs them of Jessica's kidnapping on Tuesday, January 26. At the same time, Stacy grows agitated when Bo breaks the news to Rex, just as she was trying to get closer to him. Rex then relays the news to Gigi, who is touched when Schuyler cooks them a romantic dinner. Fearing for Shane's safety, Rex and Gigi decide to let Bo and Nora take him to the Buchanan Ranch in Texas, and say an emotional farewell to their son. Furthermore, Clint and Viki take Bo up on his offer of taking Bree to the ranch as well.

Is it terrible to want to know when the next love scene will be? LOL I probably shouldn't get my hopes up considering they are "older". I can't wait for Tuesday though! Thanks for the details, Cindy.

As always... I have a question! -- Shiri, Thu, Jan 21 - 2:11:49pm
But first I have to say that I'm so excited that it's actually written in the spoilers "Bo and Nora make love"! I actually rubbed my eyes to check I wasn't delirious! LOL
As for the question... RSW really confused me!! LOL! Is there going to be a love scene (like we had on Bo's Bday) or are we going to get only the "candles" as he put it??!?
Thank you so much, Cindy, for typing it up!!!!!!!

Re: As always... I have a question! -- MaryAnn, Thu, Jan 21 - 2:16:48pm
What??? Shiri has a question? I'm shocked! ROFL
I guess none of us are really sure but the way that I read this is that we DO get more than candles and the balcony! LOL It sounds like RSW was surprised that they got MORE than that. Does that make sense?!?!

MA, are you mocking me??!? ROFL!! -- Shiri, Thu, Jan 21 - 2:26:04pm
Don't you just love my questions??! My head is still spinning so fast RSW really confused me and I had to make sure!! LOL!!
I'm surprised he's shocked, I, personally told him how much we want a reunion, so he should have known better!! ROFL!!
Thanks!!
BTW... how are you holding up with the waiting?? ROFL!

Me?!??! -- MaryAnn, Thu, Jan 21 - 2:30:15pm
Mock you???! Never honey...never!!!
I think his comment was more directed at the concept of some people maybe not wanting to see an older couple have a love scene.
I've waited 10 years. A couple of days is an easy wait for me. Besides....I have a football game to worry about on Sunday. GO VIKES!!!!

Re: Me?!??! -- Lana, Thu, Jan 21 - 3:26:51pm
Let me start by saying I think the idea of a "more mature" couple having a love scene is fantastic. As others have said I would much rather watch love scenes with the vets than the teens and 20/30 somethings. The younger set can't pull off a believable element of romance that you get from actors like RSW & HBS.
Having said that I can see where RSW and/or HBS might not be thrilled about doing a love scene at this stage of their careers. I'm 40 and I certainly don't think in 15 or 20 years I would want to be showing any skin on television.
Don't get me wrong I think RSW and HBS look fantastic and I can't wait to see the scene. I just hope for the sake of these wonderful actors TPTB create a scene that is romantic and tasteful. Not like some of the tacky Blair, Tea, Todd, and Eli stuff that has been on lately. RSW and HBS deserve better and they can actually pull off romance and don't have to rely on showing skin.
Off my soap box.

Thanks for the typing this up I am so excited!! I may have to miss class that day. Does anyone else feel a cold coming on? : )
BTW Are the serious with the Jessica regressing storyline???? I am pretty sure that we already saw Jessica before her personality split also who would want to relive high school? I hated high school! This storyline is going to be so stupid!!
Sorry about the off topic rant : )

Re: SID/SOD/SOW/Misc Previews & Tidbits -- Amy, Thu, Jan 21 - 5:40:28pm
RSW and HBS are at the top when it comes to love scenes. There is so much chemistry and they make it real. They are still going to be so sexy, these last few months of scenes have proved that they still bring it. I'm sorry but even though they are "older or mature", they will rock it harder than any other couple. I yawned at Schuyler/Gigi and Markko/Langston. I am 33 and I find them boring. Bo and Nora will bring sexy back!

Re: SID/SOD/SOW/Misc Previews & Tidbits -- Linda, Thu, Jan 21 - 4:45:36pm
I agree with you Lana that a more mature couple especially Bo and Nora can do a great love scene. It is so much better than watching any other couple on the show do one. For one thing their chemistry is awesome and they have done it many times in the past. I think that it will be wonderful.

Re: SID/SOD/SOW/Misc Previews & Tidbits -- Deanne, Thu, Jan 21 - 4:45:37pm
Still can't believe RSW thinks that we don't want to see them in a love scene. Hello? Most of us have watched for so long and to watch them get back together (at any age) is wonderful. It is what LOVE stories and hope are all about. Just stinks it took so long, but it is all GOOD!
Thanks Cindy!

Lana you said it perfectly! Exactly what I was thinking!

Ugh these next few days are gonna feel like the longest of my LIFE lol... especially with only one day of Bo & Nora this week so far lol.
I had to lol at RSW's line "I don't know if people want to watch them get after it"... umm YES we do Woodsy! lol
It makes me want to write some snail mail and tell them how much people, IMO, prefer to see the vets in love scenes. They bring such feeling, chemistry and heart to it, which IMO is lacking with the younger actors.
Thank you so much for typing this up Cindy!
