Subject: So here's my question

What the hell is Clint going to do once he finds out that Mitch's man is now Commissioner? Clint is having such glee in watching Bo lose his job. But what happens when Mitch is set free to torment Natalie, Jess, Viki, and who knows who else. Won't he feel like an ass.

The more that Clint enjoys this, the more I'm convinced (not that it took much) that Nora was simply a 'prize' and not someone Clint was in love with. When Viki (who IS the love of Clint's life) cheated on him, he never went to these extremes. He never called her a whore, never kicked her out of her own home with her children, never conspired with the enemy to make sure that Sloan lost his job, never went out of his way to publicly embarrass Viki or Sloan. Obviously he's angry because he lost the contest and is taking it out on Bo and Nora. It WILL come to bite him in the butt soon I'm sure.

ITA Mary Ann! I've ALWAYS thought that NORA was a just a prize to Clint to one up his brother and keep NORA away from him. And as you've mentioned all Clint's actions are doing is putting his family in MORE danger by not having BO around as the Commissioner. but I'm sure BO will be working undercover on his own to bring Mitch down. And it most certainly will come to bite him in the butt sooner rather than later IMO. I'm also thinking that BOTH Clint and Dorian will be crawling back begging for BO's help in the end.

I haven't posted on the board for a long time, but have keeping up on all the comments. I thought we would ever see this day. Anyway, ITA with Mary Ann and can't wait till Clint realizes who is going to take over!!

MaryAnn I TOTALLY agree with you! Maybe Clint should listen to himself when he speaks. Today Clint was talking about how karma is going to come around and cause Bo to lose his job. Clint is about to visit karma himself because he is helping free Mitch so he can bring down nothing but pain on the ones he claims to love! Clint was never in love with Nora. He saw what was happening between Bo and Nora and he just wanted to get the prize first.

Ya know MA...I hadn't even thought about the Lowell being Mitch's minion and being able to reek havoc on Clint's family...all I've thinking about is that Bo will be free to be Nora's "love slave" and to find them a place to live, go dancing etc. LOL!

Hmmmmmmmm...this a fine kettle of fish....thank God we know that Mitch won't be around forever and hopefully Bo will be restored in his job sooner than later.

ITA with all of you! I never thought of it that way MA, but it totally makes since now.

It would make for a great story Cindy if Bo works undercover to take down Mitch LOL.

In the end, Clint's actions are the ones that could destroy the family. All he's thinking about is payback - nothing more. And in the end, Mitch will be free.

Dorian is a fool to believe that Mitch won't go after her family, even with her agreeing to his demands, and in the end, I do think Bo and Nora will be the ones who protect the families.

I only started watching again when I learned Bo and Nora were re-uniting....so I can't say whether or not Clint really loved Nora.

I do think Bo will work undercover to not only protect Natalie and John, but others.

And I also love that once their relationship is out in the open, they don't have to sneak kisses in anymore!

I am getting the feeling that several people are going to be hurt somehow because of the way Clint is acting... like their life will be in danger. I just get a feeling that Bo is going to put himself in harms way to protect people from Mitch, such as Nat, Jessy, Viki and so on. And in the end if Bo gets hurt... people (namely Nora) will blame Clint. Saying all this happened because he wanted revenge!

That is the only way that it makes any sense to me. Because Nora leaving Clint wouldn't constitute "The whole family being destroyed". Because like Maryann said, this isn't the first time Clint got dumped lol... and he never went all Rambo on Viki, and she is the love of his life.

ITA! I think that Clint just wanted Nora to rub Bo's nose in it. I think that she was just a prize for him to claim. I also believe he will be the one to bring harm to the family because of Mitch. It will bite him in the butt big time. LOL! Cant wait for that though.

Totally agree MA...Clint is the one who manipulated the whole thing with Nora. He definitely saw her as the big prize that he won. He is that way about everything...he had to be the big hero to save Matt by finding the surgeon...Ugh I hate him. and I used to kind of like him.
I just want everyone to move on...and lets get to the good stuff with Bo and Nora. Clint can have Kimmie...they are made for each other!

when are we going to get some real Bo and Nora romance?

I always thought that Clint would be the one to kill Mitch in the end and Bo and Nora will come to his rescue to clear his name.... Thus ending the hatred toward them. Don't know really and don't care when it comes to Clint. What I want is Bo and Nora to FINALLY make love. I mean we've only waited over 10 years.

I think what peeves me the most is how all of these major players have been dealing with Mitch Lawrence's crap for decades yet not a one of them is bright enough to realize what is happening. I never in all my days thought they would write major characters such as Dorian and Clint as morons and that is basically what the writers are telling us - the great and illustrious Dorian Cramer is a moron and the patriarchal Clint Buchanan is a petty vindictive jerk off. Although B & N are free to be together, it's shame it has to be at the expense of the poisonous pen of some very uncreative, talentless writers.

Clint is a total dufus - he's bringing his bimbo to watch his wife be humiliated? Why is it okay for HIM to flaunt his floozy but Nora is the bad guy for showing up with Bo? Whatever.

I hope Mitch sets his sights on Clint next. If he rids my screen of that overbearing oaf, he will be my FAVE villian of all time - even though I have watched none of his story and have no idea what he's up to.

And how the hell can Lowell be police commish? Shouldn't he be in JAIL for plotting with the drug dealers? Is this show really that desperate to recycle day players like that? With head scratching moves like that, it's no wonder there are rumors of cancellation. I know it's just a soap, but there are so many WTF moments on this show that it's no wonder people just turn it off. It's more implausible than a Road Runner cartoon.

[> Re: So here's my question -- toby, Mon, Dec 28 - 8:52:30pm

Not only is one of Mitch's men going to be the new commissioner, but Lowell was responsible for the drug problem in Llanview. Because of the availability of these drugs, Matthew was seriously injured in that car crash. This is going to have a huge impact on Bo and Nora and hopefully they will work together to bring him down, along with Dorian and Clint.

However it plays out, this could be some good stuff for BnN.

ITA toby. I could see BO and NORA working together to bring him down. We could get some great stuff out of it. And in the end IMO I think that Clint will owe BO and NORA BIG time!

ICAM Carolyn. How the hell is Lowell Police Commissioner? I would think the citizens of Llanview would be calling for Dorian's resignation at appointing a drug dealer as Police Commissioner.

As for Clint, I remember what a doofus he was over the whole Sloan/Viki stuff. He's a blowhole and always has been. Can't wait for him to be brought down a peg.

ITA with you Cindy and Linda.

Clint always thought of Nora as his prize and never loved
her at all. It makes no sense at all why Lowell is even
back as a Police Commissioner at all. I hope Clint gets
his KARMA soon!!!! IA with you also Patty that Llandview would want Dorian out as mayor for putting in Lowell.
