BIG DRAMA AT THE MAYOR'S BALL

[Same picture with Dorian at the podium with BO and NORA there: Public Disgrace: Acting on Mitch's orders, Dorian drops a bombshell on BO and NORA.]

As the town gathers for the Mayoral Ball this week, on OLTL. Dorian puts her plan into action --- with a little help from Clint --- and BO and NORA are blindsided by the turn of events. "Every now and then, it's either the Woman Of The Year Awards or some other event where you can really humiliate someone in an official capacity," RSW sighs.

Mitch has been pressuring Dorian to fire BO and makes it clear that he will seriously harm --- or even kill --- one of her girls if she doesn't do his bidding. "Dorian will fight to the end for her Cramer women," Head Writer Ron Carlivati notes. As a result, Dorian formulates a plan to oust BO as police Commissioner at the ball and enlists the help of scorned husband Clint.. Believing that she's figured out a major secret, Dorian brings a photo of BO and NORA kissing which Mitch provided to Clint and suggests that NORA is cheating on him with his own brother. Acting like this is the first time Clint is hearing this, Clint tells Dorian to expose their affair at the ball. With Clint's blessing, Dorian tracks down BO and NORA and makes it clear that their attendance is mandatory at the ball.

Meanwhile, Clint looks forward to his brother's fall from grace and his wife's public humiliation, and thrills Kim by asking her to be his date. "Yeah, he's got a toy," HBS sniffs. "Things are about as bad as they can get" between BO and Clint, explains Woods. "I can't think of something worst than cheating with NORA, unless he did something to one of Clint's kids or something. BO and NORA are happy, but they feel awful that they're hurting him. And he is angry and very, very hurt."

Then it should be no surprise that Clint is partially behind BO's downfall. At the ball, NORA and BO are stunned when a reporter Clint planted, "informs" Dorian that The Commissioner and the DA are having an affair. Dorian feigns dismay, then announces that BO is fired!

"When I heard BO gets fired again, I said,' Oh yeah,' and I looked at the calendar. I figured it was about time," Woods laughs. "But I can't believe who replaces him."

BO IS FIRED AGAIN!

[Picture of Dorian at the podium with BO and NORA there. And there are also some pictures of Dressing for the Ball: One with B/N, Dorian and Clint, Tea and Elijah.]

The Mayor's Ball is anything but a ball for BO and NORA this week, when their relationship is made public.

"We do that every now and then," RSW chuckls. "It's either at the Woman Of The Year dinner or some other event where one can really humiliate the powers-that-be, somebody in an official capacity."

Adding to the awkwardness is the fact that Dorian is forced to fire BO at the event, because Mitch threatens to kill one of the Cramer women if she doesn't.

"When the show said, 'You get fired again,' I looked at the calendar and said, 'Yeah, it's about time,' " Woods laughs. "I couldn't believe the guy the replaces him as Commissioner. He probably should be in jail."

There is one bright spot in the midst of BO's troubles, though: BO,NORA and Matthew are all living together in BO's garret. "I've been dying to get that set back," Woods raves. "There's a whole patio out there. Eddie Alderson and I have done scenes out there, eating cheeseburgers. It's an intimate set. We're regular folks. We don't have to have a set that's named after something in French!"

SNEAK PEEKS

Kim makes inroads with Clint.

Destiny tells Matthew how she feels about him.

BO and NORA grow skeptical about Mitch's stabbing.

In Depth PREVIEW

DORIAN FIRES BO!

[Same picture as SOW and SOD]

She may be Llanview's newly-e;ected mayor, but OLTL's Dorian isn't exactly running the show. Believing deranged ex-hubby Mitch's threats that he will harm her family, she reluctantly allows him to control her every move. But will she regret it?

Power Trip

No longer wanting BO as police commissioner, and wanting to exert his authority over her, Mitch calls Dorian and asks why she hasn't fired him yet.

Meanwhile, Llanview's top cop questions Natalie about the creepy criminal's stabbing. But John interrupts, reminding everyone that Mitch had stabbed himself.

Hidden Agenda

Dorian pays Clint a visit and shows him a picture of BO and NORA kissing, courtesy of Mitch. Then she asks about the former couple having an affair, and Clint admits that it's true. She acts totally surprised, and then Clint reminds her that BO reports to her and suggests that she do something about his brother's unforgivable behavior.

Meanwhile, all of Llanview prepares for the Inauguration Ball, which is set for New Year's Eve. Dorian runs into NORA and BO at the station and informs them that their attendance is mandatory. What she doesn't know is that Clint has a plan of his own for the reunited couple. He asks his assistant Kim to be his date and takes her shopping for a fancy dress.

Public Humiliation

As the ball commences. Clint raises more than a few eyebrows when he shows up with the exotic dancer on his arm. Then, a reporter whom he's tipped off notifies Dorian that the commissioner and the DA have been having an ilicit affair. At that moment, the newly-elected politician declares to all the attendees that she is giving BO his walking papers. But will Dorian continue to do Mitch's wicked bidding and reveal BO's other secret? Or will she take the high road?

Unfortunately for Clint, a whole pile of longtime fans would happily sacrifice his happiness to see BO and NORA back together. "I'm sorry, but they're one of those couples who only work with each other," argues Candace W in Leavenworth, KS.

The Dogg Is Back!

[Picture of BO and Snoop from 2008 .... "Bobizzle, you know you are my homie fo' shizzle."]

Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg --- who just happens to be pals with OLTL's BO ---- is returning to Llanview in February!

In Depth Story: The rapper will swing through Llanview again On Wednesday, Feb. 24. Fans will recall that when Doff appeared back in May of 2008, he did more than perform at UltraViolet, he revealed that he and BO had crossed paths before.

In Depth was on set when the self-proclaimed fan of the show taped his scenes, including a rendition of the single "I Wanna Rock" from his new album, Malice In Wonderland.

"I've been a fan of OLTL since I was a baby," he told In Depth. "It's cool to hang with BO and the people in Llanview and rock out with them."

Just like last time, Robert S. Woods' BO will share several scenes with the guest star. Excited by the singers return, Woods shared a few hush-hush details about what we can expect. "Snoop has a gig at Capricorn, and we have scenes at BO's garret," Woods previews, saying that the writers are once again exploring the history between BO and Snoop. "They know each other from way back. when BO was producing the soap FRATERNITY ROW in the late 1980's. Calvin Broadus, Dogg's given name, actually worked on that show. The last time he was here, that came out, and we had an agreement that I would call him by his real name."

CABLE GUIDE PREVIEWS

Week Of Jan. 4

Tuesday, Jan 5

Dorian accuses BO of tampering with evidence;
Gigi is forced to confess to Rex that she slept with Schuyler.

ABC HotSheet

SNEAK PEEK – WEEK OF DECEMBER 28

2009 ends anything but quietly in Llanview. First, there's Todd. Well, Todd and Blair. Todd's pretty depressed about losing Tea and not being able to tell Danielle she's his daughter. Blair encourages him to reconcile with Tea (whoa, Blair? Have you been having too much champagne?), but that might be impossible, considering Danielle shows up at Todd's -- with a gun. And she's ready to shoot. Think she learned how to handle a gun from watching Todd, as seen above?

Mitch continues to put the pressure on Dorian: fire Bo, or her Cramer girls will be harmed. When Dorian learns that Nora left Clint for Bo, the perfect opportunity -- and partnership -- to really stick it to Bo presents itself. Clint and Dorian may not be fond of each other, but a situation that mutually benefits them (target: Bo) makes them allies. Look for all kinds of dirty laundry to come out at Dorian's press conferences. (Also, the words "Dorian" and "press conference" in the same sentence mean things are going to be must-see.)

All this, PLUS: Gigi and Schuyler get romantic; Fish and Kyle have sex; Tea may have a new love interest; and Destiny confesses her love to Matthew. Yes, we told you things were exploding!

OLTL PreVUE: Week of December 28 Edition
Posted: Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 9:00 AM by Scotty Gore

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — A New Year full of surprises.

THIS WEEK ON: ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Schuyler vents once more to Rachel about his problems.
New Year’s Eve encore of the 11/10/09 episode

Natalie, Jessica, and Jared are confronted by Mitch Laurence while in Napa. Rex is horrified to learn the identity of his biological father. Clint catches Bo and Nora by surprise when he visits them in London. Nora mistakenly believes that Téa somehow assisted Matthew in running away from the Warwick School. Téa, meanwhile, shocks Bo and Nora by telling them that she has a daughter. David informs Destiny that he has decided to stay in London to check out the social scene. Matthew is all Destiny can think about while flying back to Llanview. On their way to Seattle to have his surgery, Matthew and Danielle are surprised to learn that his lawyer and her mother are one in the same. Cristian and Layla throw caution to the wind and try their chances at being a couple. Later, the lovebirds sudden arrival back at the apartment places the kibosh on Fish and Kyle’s romantic evening. However, all is not ruined as the guys decide to wait and let their “first” time be special.

The Inside Story: Airing Dirty Laundry

Even though they have a nagging suspicion that there is more to the story than either John or Natalie are willing to admit, Bo and Nora close the book on Mitch’s stabbing. Meanwhile, Mitch continues to put the screws to Dorian by threatening to harm one of her “girls” if she doesn’t fire Bo as Police Commissioner on Monday, December 28. Kim is overjoyed when Clint asks her to escort him to the Mayor’s Ball. Realizing what Dorian has in store for his brother, Clint eagerly awaits Bo’s downfall. On Tuesday, December 29, Bo and Nora are shoved into the spotlight at the gala when news of their affair is brought to light. In response, Dorian publicly fires Bo. And on Wednesday, December 30, Bo and Nora are floored by how their lives have been turned upside down.

A Closer Look: Why Must I Be a Teenager in Love?

Intent on avenging her “father’s” death, Danielle swipes Bo’s gun and plots against Todd. By Tuesday, December 29 Nora suggests to Téa that the reason Danielle is pushing her away is because she is still connected to Todd. Later, Destiny pours out her feelings to Matthew, who tries not to break her heart on Wednesday, December 30. Danielle pulls a gun on Todd, however he and Blair manage to convince her to put down the weapon. And, following a heart-to-heart talk with Shaun, Destiny decides that she would rather have Matthew as a friend than not have him in her life at all.

Thanks for the previews.

Is it okay to fire someone because of an affair? I think that they are stretching it a bit far but I can't wait to see Bo and Nora in a good storyline that has them together.

I can't wait to see how this plays out, as long as they have no regrets. You can't fight love like theirs. They know it; we know it! We asked for a reunion, and we are getting it...with a side of rollercoaster. Tighten those safety belts - we are on for a thrill ride!

Thanks for the scoop!
