Picture/caption contest posting:
You need to find some free (if you're cheap like me)web space to store pictures.
I did a search on www.google.com for "free web space" and got about 86,000 hits, so there's a start! The first hit was www.freeservers.com.
Another option is to see if your ISP provides any free server space along with your account (my ISP coughs up 10MB of space for free). You then need to figure out how to upload files and pictures to that webspace.
After that's done--should take about 5 minutes or so ;)...you need to get the picture onto the message board.
I think the easiest way to link to the picture is to call it up and copy its address from the address bar. For me, it's just highlight the address, right click and select copy.
In the subject area of a new message board message...type the "less than" sign then img src=", then paste the address you copied followed by " and the "greater than sign".
You could also scroll down the message board to one of the caption contests, hit reply and examine the subject line for an example.
You could also get fancy and type alt="insert witty statement here" before the closing "greater than sign". This is what will pop-up when one "mouses over" the picture.
