Yes, we had a wonderful time at lunch. The food was good and the company was even better! Logan's daughter's are just like her: lovely, intelligent, and nice. Breezy didn't want to leave them!

I got three books to read poolside: Linda Lael Miller's Springwater Seasons (a western-type romance novel), Perri O'Shaughnessy's Move to Strike (a courtroom thriller) and Stephen White's Cold Case (psychological thriller). I have read all of O'Shaughnessy's and White's books because they are excellent. I read Miller's books because they are easy to read and entertaining and don't make me laugh the way really badly written romance novels do. I go for variety, lol.

I am currently re-reading a book that I also recommended to Logan called Buddhism Plain and Simple by Steve Hagan. For anyone interested in the Buddhist philosophy, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this book. The sub-title to the book is The Practice of Being Aware, Right Now, Every Day. It's about helping you to stop living in the past (gee, why did that have to happen?) or the future (what IF this or that happens?) and focus on living today and accepting reality and thereby cutting out your self-created stress and pain.

Everybody have a wonderful 4th of July, btw! (yeah, even you Canucks. I know you're out there, hehe)
