Subject: NEWS - course change for Fiesta Is TT

Forwarded from Todd Willis - promoter for Fiesta Island TT:

Time Trialer's

Please read this email carefully.

Registration closes at 6:45. Everyone is required to visit the
registration desk before 6:45 am to sign a release form and get your bib

number. If you are not signed in by 6:45 your bib number could be resold
to
someone else. Please remember to visit the registration desk before
6:45.

Due to a crash on the last time trial, the City of San Diego has
informed us the long course is no longer available for bicycle events.
You
will be doing 5 LAPS on the short course. This road surface is in better

condition, but because it is shorter, there will be more congestion. It
is important to announce your intentions if you are preparing to pass.
As always, no drafting. Because the course has changed, no money will
be given out for breaking records.

Remember! This is a race. You have signed a release that makes you
responsible for your equipment and how you ride your bike. Your bicycle
is
to be equipped to handle a variety of road conditions and the dynamics
of the event. The road conditions at Fiesta Island are not good. Your
responsibility is to ride safely as the event unfolds. You are
responsible for your actions and where you steer your bike.

The weather should be perfect Sunday morning. I look forward to seeing
you there. Thank you for joining us at Fiesta Island.

Have a great time.

Todd Willis
