Subject: HED Wheels-'04 H3

HED-H3

This is a brandnew in stock wheelset from TRi-CYCLiNG MULTiSPORT.

In spoked wheels, the H3 is the most aero wheel that we make. Only a disc is faster. Rim construction is identical to the Alps with the spokes being made in the same way. The spokes, rim and hub are all molded at the same time. The rim weight is light – 460g, and the spokes weigh 170g, so the wheels climb and accelerate much better than the overall wheel weight seems to indicate.

Increased surface area makes the H3s more aero. They are more affected by crosswinds than the Alps, but for most riders in most race conditions, the wind will not cause any problems.
Lightweight where they need to be, and aero all over, they are the best all around wheels you can buy.

Available in clincher or tubular, 650 or 700. Shimano cassette only. Hubs are wheel-specific, two sealed bearings on the front wheel, one sealed cartridge on the rear kickstand side and ¼” loose ball-bearings on the drive side.
Price-$1075usd
