Yes, use your disc for sure. Most of the course is rolling, with one climb in the first 1/2 of the race. It is a point-to-point race, 11 miles.

A good strategy is to not go out too hard, start "easy" until you shoot through the tunnel, then turn up the gas. Push hard up the hills and stay in the aerobars on the downhills. Watch the traffic, the semi's can suck you towards them if you get too close to the white line. There is a bike lane the whole distance, no lights or stop signs.
