But Kosses is with Alairic...which set up this perfectly. Why not trick Band's worst enemy- oh excuse me. Band is a very close friend of mine...and he and Ferdie Von Pelt are rivals way back-' she continued with ehr tale. 'I had this plan to trick Ferdie. I hadn't the power to kill him off right away...so I thought I'd add a twist. Taking Alairic's gift to Kosses and locking Ferdie within it. Only true love can free him, and only Kosses can supply that. But that's the rub. kosses can't show her true love for Ferdie, even if she had it, for she is betroved to Alairic.' She wondered if he had followed any of this. 'To make it shorter...I locked her love within a pendate, and she cant safe him without betraying her other lover. Tis a good way to make a queen unpopular in a quick manner. But do tell, why do you care anything about this?'()
