В сыром тумане мысли отсырели.
Увы, бесплоден умственный напряг.
Уныло я топчу обильный прах,
Что сыплется с осенней карусели.

И душу чувства грустные обсели,
Как будто бы вороны на ветвях.
Последние листочки на ветрах
Трепещут в такт погибельной свирели.

Старуха-Смерть уже в неё задула,
Отставив в сторону свою косу
И целя дудкою в меня, как дулом.

Но я сегодня ноги унесу,
И вырвусь из томительного плена,
Не восхищаясь красотою тлена.
