Subject: Do you remember us?

Hello. Does anyone remember the Neckonoff Family from Flatlands 1 Street and later East 83 between Glenwood and Farragut. My dad is Barry. My mom is Beverly (she was very active on the PTA's of PS 279, JHS211 and Canarsie HS), My brother is Jeff, my sister is Jodi, and I am Michelle. We were members of Seaview Pool as well. Jodi and I were also members of Emile Zola BBYO which met at the HES. I am posting this because I just spoke with my mom this morning and she is feeling nostalgic about people that we grew up with and is wondering where they are now. She does not have a computer so I am posting this on her behalf.
Please email me directly and if youre message needs to be forwarded to any of my family members I will gladly let them know. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from former friends and neighbors

I remember your sister Jodi very well! I believe I am younger than her but we were in EmileZola at the same time. I think she was an officer then. Please send Jodi my best! Give her my email I would love to hear from her!

My Mother said she remembers your mother from the PTA and that she was a real ass! I doubt you will find many people responding to your post.

I fondly remember your mom and the other lovely PTA ladies at 279.

I remember that Beverly was a sweetheart and a very nurturing woman. The PTA thrived under her leadership, as she really cared about the kids and the school.

Whoever made that last negative post is a real cynical, jaded negative person. People like that exist to bring others down to their level. Don't fall for her ploy.

Thank you for your kind words about my mom. It is nice to know that people remember her for her passion and caring that she gave to the PTA of PS 279. I remember when she told us she was going to be the president of the PTA. At first she wasnt sure that she wanted to do it, but she tells us now that it was one of the best things that she did and she had a wonderful time when she was on the PTA. I am glad that she gave so much energy to helping the school. I loved PS 279 and I loved all of the teachers there. Truly the best teachers a child could ask for. I will pass on your words to my mom. Unfortunately she doesnt have a computer so I will have to relay your message.

hi my name is joe ....i used to hang out with gary magida and seth holtzman i remember your brother.....hes the one that told me elvis died in 1977......i had alot of mini bikes....
