The northern part joins Italy & Slovenia & Hungary. I am Australian & I spent 7 weeks there last year. It is the most beautiful country in the world. I suggest you look up Croatian sites on the web just to get a glimps of its beauty! Croatia has crystal-clear water, 100's of islands, well preserverd Roman ruins & medieval walled cities.
