Date Posted: 02:18:58 04/25/04 Sun Hi all - I just saw Close Your Eyes and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the film very much. There are a lot of exceptional shots - great use of angles and lighting. Goran's performance was excellent and quite different from ye ole Luka - he's funny in a few spots as well. The only two complaints I have are the actress playing the Scotland Yard detective - I found her to be much more annoying than "quirky". Also, the movie's score sounded really cheesy - very a dun, dun, dun- like in certain areas. It was enough to make me lose the serious focus of the film. As for the "gore" (and that's not short for Goran) factor, we've seen far worse on ER every week. Lastly, I'll end with the eye candy review - lots of Goran in a wife beater tank top, a shirtless bath shot (to the waist only, and what a waist!), and another shirtless finale. Hope this review was helpful and that you all get a chance to see it!
