(They ate and slept on the ship.) I don't remember a whole lot of what they said about it -- that it was pretty, that the tour took in several churches (but that, since it was late in their trip and they'd already seen lots of churches, they weren't too impressed...). And my dad was annoyed that Croatia didn't use euros. (That they accepted euros as payment in the shops, but gave kunas back as change -- which they were then unable to change back into dollars/euros later on.) But that's my Dad.... And that it was very hot (but they were there last August, in the middle of the European heat wave.) I think Dubrovnik is one of the more expensive cities in Croatia, but Croatia is still a fairly inexpensive destination all around, compared to most other places. (But then, I'm not sure what your budget is, and what you would consider expensive/inexpensive. If you are really interested in this, there are tons of resources, both in print and on the net, giving you all the info you could possibly want. (Try your local library or bookstore or Amazon.com for travel guides. Or do a websearch.
