(Well, not LITERALLY, mind you. My backyard is badly in need of mowing just now, so, unless it's going to be some sort of jungle flick, I don't think it would work well.) My life? Well ... let's see ... it's hotter'n blazes here right now. (The thermometer in my bedroom reads 87 degrees -- we have a fan, but no a/c in there.) My daughter starts 6th grade next week. She's growing up way too fast. I'm looking for a job and am, apparently, overqualified for everything I've applied for. (At least I assume I'm overqualified .. I'd hate to think that I'm UNDERQUALIFIED for receptionist positions with a masters degree and 20+ years of work experience.) I do have some part time work, but I need more hours. (My main part time job had its hours cut way back,and I haven't really worked all summer.) I have an ear infection, and the doctor I saw today wasn't nearly as good looking as Dr. Kovac. (Of course, she was female, so maybe I'm in no position to judge.) ER wasn't shown last night, which means I'm not going to get "THousand Cranes" on tape. Sigh.... Tomorrow, the choir I sing with will be singing the National Anthem at a WNBA game. (Indiana Fever vs. Cleveland Rockers.) Not sure if it will be televised or not. (Some games are, at least in their relevent communities.) Yeah, I'm a little nervous. (Esp. since my ear infection is leaving me sorta deaf, which makes part singing a real challenge. [My own voice echoes in my head, and I can't hear anyone else very well.]) Ok. Enough for now. (Sorry this is all such downers ... there really isn't much GOOD going on in my life just now, mostly just the same old stuff.) Your turn.
