Another nice Expansion tidbit found over at Diablo2 Nation concerning loss of experience points in NM/Hell levels. Kinda nice :)

experience loss in Nightmare and Hell difficulty?

[DiabloIIDevTeam] Yes! In Nightmare and Hell
difficulties, you can recover half of the experience lost by
retrieving your body where it was killed. If you quit and
start a new game, you still lose the regular amount.
