Many moons ago, perhaps almost four years ago around early December, by chance I happened to wander into a very unfamiliar place. Although unfamiliar, it had a good feeling to it, a special feeling. I was cold, alone, afraid and without any armor, helm, gloves and only a club to ward off evil.

Twas there I met a great Knight. His name was Ba'alzamon...and I stood in awe of this Knight, for I was just a lowly maiden...and maidens were completely unknown to this small Kingdom.

Well, I was greeted warmly and this Knight took me on as his squire, and for weeks I cowered and cried and wept because I was soooo afraid of all the evil monsters and couldn't imagine going further down into the depths. But this Knight continued to coax me, and prod me and would sometimes invite other Knights to play with me, Belgarath and Pvt. Hudson (Sorsha)/Malek) and a few others who bring a smile to my face. So I continued on, with no confidence, shaking at every turn...so badly did this lady play. But she was determined...afterall she was Kingel...the maiden disguised in a knight's armor. She would vanquish evil, even though she trembled through every quest.

When we got the maiden through Act III hell, she was so frightened that it took her yet another month to even think about trying H/H...the cowardly maiden. She needed to prepare herself for this event. Soooooo with the prodding of several others, Prevalon and Sorsh, and Bel, Ba'al of course...a few more...well the lady finally beat the evil Diablo.

And now I am finally getting to the end of this story. I dedicated my 3rd dot to Lord Ba'al for all his many months of training and caring, and believing that I could do this.

Ba'al it was truly an honor to escort you through hell tonight...it brought back soooo many memories that I had so carefully tucked away in my heart.

Congratulations my dear old friend...you were a most excellent leader of Camelot, and we are so fortunate indeed to have you as a part of Excalibur.

I kneel on the ground, and raise my sword in the air to you good Knight...
All Hail, Ba'alzamon...all hail Moose :)
