Quick tip for Bowazons...
Sorsha tryed this out in last night's game and it worked wonders....
It took me 75 lvls to finally realize the importance of Decoy. Valkryies are tough and certainly take a beating in your defense, but as we all know, Valkryies have a mind of their own and often cause more trouble than you can immediately handle.
In Act4 Hell difficulty you need all the defense you can muster and certainly high resists and bow damage are important. Equally important is the use of Decoy to compliment your Valkrye.
Often enough the Valkrye will wander off leaving you alone to fight the hoardes of monsters til she returns from whatever. This is not good!
Heres the tip, If you strategically cast Decoy the hoarde will be attracted to it allowing enough time for the Valkrye to catch up and between your Valkrye and Decoy you just wipe the hoarde out, like shooting fish in a barrel! This really works well in hard places such as stairs or where you have monsters who cast range spells.
I currently use a lvl 2 Decoy which lasts for 15 seconds at a cost of 18 mana which is cheap to cast and remember fast cast items help here alot. The cost of mana decreases with investment and the seconds a Decoy will last increases by 5 seconds per skill lvl. A lvl 2-3 Decoy will work wonders, is cheap to cast and will compliment your Valkrye. 15 seconds may not seem alot, but it does give your Valkrye a chance to catch up and your bow a chance to do it's damage. As you will be recasting Decoy often, lvl 2 Decoy is about all you will require. This works great in multiplayer as well.
Cast your Valkrye as soon as you can, keep Decoy as your right mouse click and whatever you use for bow attack (Multi/Strafe) as your left mouse click. Your Valkrye should last a long time, provided you put skill points there so there is no need to have Valkrye designated to a mouse click, hotkey her will do.
So there you have it, use the Decoy, for Bowazons it is a wonderful weapon when strategically used to compliment your Valkrye.

I always knew it was something I should be using, but until seeing how effective it was for Wil, and for me I wasn't convinced. But now I'm a huge fan! Always important to have as many copies of yourself running around at all times! (NT) -- Kronion, 05:02:14 05/17/01 Thu
